Well, it's that time of year where we play around on the State Line.

For those of you who are not sure what I'm talking about, everyone is invited to gather at Cherohala Motorcycle Resort http://www.cycleresort.com/ for the 3rd Annual Tour de Tellico ride. The campground is just outside of Tellico Plains, TN and is the jumping-off point of many great rides that we will be arranging in the mountains along the TN/NC line. There's going to be many different rides for various terrain levels (see http://klrworld.com/forums/index.php?topic=2799.0), so that people can pick their favorite riding style.

Look forward to seeing everyone again, and meeting all the first-timers! :)

The next 4 months will go by fast, so everyone get ready!!!!!!!

This ride is for anybody who wants to come. Just hope ya don't mind hanging out with a bunch of KLR guys and gals.

cc are you planning on any rides on the cohutta side this year? sorry we had to bail out on that 1 last year, but it seemed liked a long way to go to ride in a dust bowl.I rode that area last saturday .couldn't ask for better conditions.to bad it's not like that in may.probably will ride it again this sat.2-9. We found 3 roads that have been opened that were gated but didn't have time to ride them.

I should be there this year. Hope Marty attends, I still need to do the doo-hickey. May get there Friday morning. I'm sure I'll need an extra day off from work.

I think it would be good to set up a ride around that area. We could always have a 'backup ride' set up in case we are in need of rain again this year.

I am thinking about coming down for the ride. I have been wanting to do some riding down there for a long time and this would be a good opportunity.
Do most people ride in or haul their bikes?
My plan right now is to ride the KLX down from KY and tent camp unless the weather is terrible. Any other KY riders coming down?

That would be a long ride on a KLX some ride-in some haul
If it was me I would haul in case I tore up my bike I would
have a way to get it home, plus if the weather gets ugly
(big nasty storm 50 mph winds etc) :(
you can aways sleep in your truck
we have some people haul from 20 miles away so as not to
eat up there tires on pavement :poke1:
there should be and enclosed area there this year that
in the event of bad weather you may be able to get inside.
