I copied this from another forum. I'd like to go just to get out and go over the Foothills Parkway...maybe grab lunch in Townsend also.



I can't commit to it for now, most weekends are dedicated to family stuff which I've been told (many times) includes me.

Doo tools available, pretty good selection of shims for valves, and usually a good wealth of knowledge from the home boys. Ride a DR, no problem, lets open this to all DS bikes, even the GS's.
Francois at Dual Sport Touring again said he would offer a 25% discount on parts for the event if ordered before hand, we can even arrange them to be brought to the shop, tires are not discounted 25% as he already has a very good price on them.
If you have any old parts or accessories, bring them as we'll have a swap table set up as well.
If your coming from afar your welcome to bring a tent and pitch it by the river for the night or there is a motel next door and there's a restaurant at the end of the driveway."

I am going to try to make it.

If you want to ride over the Foothills Parkway and I can get a pass from my boss, we could meet at the gas station/convenience store in Tallassee, TN on hwy129 just below the Chilhowee Dam. If not, I hope to be there around noon on my Gray, clutch rattling, Multistrada. Obviously, I'll not be getting or giving tech help with it.


I'll post up one way or another before it happens.
