i got into beer making last fall. the kinds i like are kinda pricey. so i what if i made my own i could save some bucks WRONG. but i did find a new hobbie i love.
i was trying to keep this from being too big a pain in the rear so i kegged instead of bottling this is the only way to go!!!you will need to buy a co2 bottle and reg. and a few
empty soda kegs(corny kegs). it's well worth the startup cost. the taste of good fresh beer cant be compared to anything you buy in stores, its awesome!!!!
so far i have made a couple of smoked porters, a wheat, english brown ale and right now i have a heavily hopped ale that is ready to keg.
if there is any interest in this we could do a brew clinic. i'm telling you it is a blast to make, running through raw ingred. to the wort to the unfermented beer stage.
let me know if any interest!!!

god loves us and wants us to be happy this is why he gave us beer....

I don't drink beer but like the idea of someone making their own. Does one save money making their own beer?

site does seem dead but i wish it was more active, at first it was real active.
I wish it was active like at first because the site seemed more like a close knit group, Python is a good guy and knows every pig path in the area, there is a bunch of info here in the way of gps info on trails maps etc.

Back to the beer, brew up some and lets have a tasting after a good day riding the woods.

Looks like you "Hammer" and I are the only ones left posting. When do we need to turn off the lights?

C'mon. Give Python a break guys! The new site may take a little while for folks to find it, get comfortable with it; and, it IS mid-Feb so only the hard core are looking to go riding (bless their hearts!).

At the same time, beer is good. Good beer is better. Czech beer is the best. Got a nice hoppy Czech-like brew?

I second the motion for nice long ride (dual or dirt) and a class on how to start the 'home keg brew hobby'!! Great idea. Don't have any comments about home brew...don't know or care about the subject, no offense intended.

Hammer, although this place seems sleepy I hope it's not dead. If you want input from a dual sport sight, put down the beer, get off your ass, go some where, ride, take pictures and post...you lazy bastard. How does that taste? :poke2:

BTW, I'm not mad either...just practicing. I'm probably going to hell for my language. I wish I could remember the prayer Larry the cable guy sez.
