My stock signals were pretty good. When I bought the bike they were both patched with electrical tape, but I got a whole year out of them. I lost them on an ill fated ride at Brimstone where I kept catupulting the bike end over end on some hill climbs. Tim seemed to get a kick out of it, but it fini...

I didn't know anyone in TN used turn signals. I've busted 3 sets off of my DRZ and gave up on them about 8 months ago. I haven't gotten any heat from the man yet. That said, Baja Designs makes a pretty robust signal, that will flex in a crash and is big enough to actually do some good. Ran those wit...

Ditto on Tony (MRM) & Laura being good people. From the main parking lot: 4 gravel type road turning into 2 track Left on 6 slightly more challenging 2 track Right on 1 gravel road back to main entrance More challenging 4 same trail as before left on 18 slightly rough 2 track Right (straight) on...

Brimstone's fun too, but it's possible to get in over your head in few places, not that's always a bad thing.

I agree the best place to get introduced to dirt around here is royal blue. The trails are fairly well marked and rated easy, medium, and hard. Most trails are winding 2 track (two bikes side by side or 1 Rhyno wide). Basically you're head north on I-75 to exit 141 (same exit as the giant cross abov...

It's been in my garage about 4 years. My Fiance' owns it and she's decided that Knoxville traffic holds no love for her. I blame this on her road rage, she really needs a lifted full size diesel the way she drives.

Python,
Right now the seat height measures 30 inches. I think with a drop in the triple clamps and reduced rear shock preload we could get down to 29 inches. Why not swing by next time you're up this way? I'm only 1/2 mile off of 75N.

Does anyone on the forum ride trials? I just bought a Gas Gas TXT Pro and would be interested in riding and getting a few pointers. I've been out to the Terry farm & ridden a few of the sections there. It seemed like the sportsman lines were the best suited to me. A few I could get through with ...

I haven't left the backyard yet, but I'm having a blast. Unlike a KTM I don't need to worry about the 2x4 of seat pounding my backside so it's less of a pain in the rear. The seat is surprisingly comfy if you're just sitting at a stand still catching your breath. |
