It goes straight thru no problem now, the end near the dam is a little rough, the end at Cooper road turns to new fresh deep gravel, there is a gated driveway on the left where the trail comes out onto the gravel. My thinking is we need to get any riding in now because there is a reason they put all...

Not that much is private, i would still ride it if i had stock exhaust, they will not know you are in there, only thing they can do if they were driving by and seen you coming out is to ask you not to ride.

When i go in and out of there i dont stop till i get way back in there.

the only problem with it is the end where it comes out below the dam onto mt pleasant is actually on private property and they really dont want us in there but they dont say much about it or enforce it.

I rode it regular when i was a teenager back in the 70's, if you got caught in there now you would get hammered with fines.
I had a Honda SL125 and a Suz RM125 man we had a ball back then when you could get away with a few things.

my buddy said the sign was down/ gone the other day, he thinks they might have closed it, i rode it not 2 months ago, could not make thru from miller cem. there was alot of stuff down near the clear cut area, it was good to the clear cut.

I called and thanked them, also let them know that there are more folks on 81 than they might think because most dual sports dont have real aggressive tires we dont leave much evidence of having been there, i ask that they please dont close 81. once you get to 129 you will have to go the sky way to Tellico plains to get back, they just might have 129 open by then if you are lucky.
